Scripture Study Opportunities

Our English Bible Study program is currently on hiatus.  However, other opportunities for studying the Scripture are available in our parish and the surrounding area.

Chicago Catholic Scripture School
Coordinated by the Office for Catechesis & Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago.  Nearby sites include St. Teresa of Avila Parish (west Lincoln Park). 

Children's Liturgy of the Word
Takes place at most 9:30 a.m. Masses during the school year.  Children (approximately ages 3 through 7) are invited to the altar for a blessing before the First Reading and go with their catechists to our Lower Church chapel for an age-appropriate reflection on the Scripture readings of the day. Children return to their families later in the Mass with activity sheets to take home.  For more information, please call 773-539-7510.

Spanish Bible Study
Queen of Angels offers Bible Study in Spanish on Friday evenings.  For more information, please call 773-539-3716.

English Bible Study

We will continue our workbooks entitled the New Beginning(selections from Genesis 12-50).
On Monday, June 7th, 7:30 to 9:30, in the Upper Voss Center. This week we will cover the Call of Abraham, Gen 12:1-4. If you are interested please call 773-478-7948 for more information.

English Bible Study

In April, following Easter, on Monday, we will be starting a new program of the bible. The series has 20 work books for the Old Testament and 20 work books for the New Testament.
